AUGMENTED REALITY
This is the first and only browser plug-in that uses AI to highlight text on the page to reflect whether or not it was written by the GPT. GPT detectors are not a new idea, however, creating an augmented reality experience that seamlessly highlights the information in front of you is new.
ROADMAP
I’d like to add other features, such as estimating the age of the writer or the similarity of a paragraph to something that’s already written. There’s a lot of GPT predicting algorithms out there. I’m currently using the “RoBERTa Base OpenAI Detector” (see citation below), which is the first and most common. While my focus isn’t to develop GPT prediction models, I am training my own models. If you’re an ML engineer and interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out @davederiso.

CAN I BUY/INVEST?
This is a side-project and offered freely to users. However, since highlighting text on the browser page is a new and original take, I’ve protected that idea with a broad provisional patent as well as a trademark for the sole purpose of selling the IP. If anyone is interested in acquiring this IP, please reach out. My thesis is simple: in the next six months there will be a Cambrian explosion of these apps inevitably followed by consolidation (see post).
